Grammy, 8-time Dove and 7-time Stellar nominated songwriter, producer, artist, director and author Joe Pace, has established himself as one of the nation’s most prolific church songwriters and choir directors, with many of his songs becoming Sunday morning worship standards. Pace is a 20-year industry veteran, with well over 500,000 in career album sales, spanning 15 full-length projects, whose anointed style, production, and keen focus on church suitable worship, have certainly solidified his place as one of the gospel music industry’s most dynamic and enduring talents.
An ordained minister, Joe Pace is the Director/CEO of the award-winning Colorado Mass Choir, the CEO and President of The PACE Group, a multi-faceted music ministry corporation that includes production, publishing, and conference/workshop divisions. Minister Pace’s first consideration is always to ministry at the local level and has well over 25 years of experience serving in music ministry in small, medium and mega-church paradigms, and he currently serves as the Pastor Of Worship for the Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. He also recently received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Aenon Bible College, recognizing all his years of exceptional work in ministry.
One of the nation’s most prolific church songwriters, Joe Pace has penned numerous Top 10 songs including, “Watch God Move,” the popular worship anthem “We Worship You”, “Shake The Foundation”, “Speak Life”, the radio mega-hit, “Glad about It”, “Hallelujah Anyhow”, “High and Lifted Up” and “Mighty Long Way”, just to name a few. His songs have been sung by the likes of Fred Hammond, Erica Campbell (from Mary Mary), Daryl Coley, Rance Allen, LaShun Pace, Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Clint Brown, Isaac Carree, and many others. His music has indeed become a mainstay in Sunday Morning Worship services all over the world.
As an artist, producer, and songwriter he created a line of praise and worship music resources for the church. He was also at the production helm for a “live” worship project for mega-church Faithful Central Bible Church out of Los Angeles, CA, and a Double-CD and DVD anniversary project entitled Mighty Long Way bringing together for the first time, all the choirs he’s worked with over the years. Charles Jr. & The Shiloh Church Choir, debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Album Chart, and is an amazingly diverse, yet accessible church choir album featuring his pastor and church choir out of Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Pace’s experience and intense scriptural understanding of music ministry, as well as his amazing ability to clearly articulate both the spiritual and practical principles of music ministry, multi-cultural worship and music ministry organization/administration, has rendered him a phenomenal teacher and one of the most sought after workshop clinicians and speakers in the country. He has ministered to, and helped to grow and nurture literally hundreds of music ministers and music ministries all over the world. Formerly on the editorial board for Worship Leader magazine with his own recurring column, Pastor Pace was also a lecturer/teacher for Integrity Music’s Seminars4Worship for several years.
